Rachel Kinzler is a New York based actor, dancer, writer and choreographer from Los Angeles, CA. She graduates Hofstra University in Spring 2020 with a B.F.A. in Theatre Arts: Performance and a minor in English.
Rachel has been dancing since the age of three, training with Josie Walsh at The Joffrey Ballet School and many other studios in the LA area. Her exploration stems from the physical quality that classical and contemporary texts provide. She is classically trained in Shakespeare’s work with Hofstra University and The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London. Her style inhabits the tragedy of Shakespeare, the power of stillness, and the intention of authenticity.
Some recent stage credits include Cressida in Troilus and Cressida (Hofstra University), Duke of Cornwall in King Lear (Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts), Cel in The Most Massive Woman Wins (Hofstra University) and many more.
Rachel is also an experienced choreographer. At Hofstra, she has been given the opportunity to choreograph contemporary pieces and period based movement for the Drama and Dance department.
